Accommodation at Villa Anabel is laid out over two floors.
The main entrance leads into a spacious, beautifully finished open-plan living area. This central hub of the villa is a perfect representation of the property’s aesthetics and sets the tone for the rest of the house. Sets of giant, floor-to-ceiling glass doors open out onto the main terrace and bring in the fabulous views of the Adriatic Sea and the Pakleni Islands; pale stone floors and pristine white walls and ceilings accentuate the serene luminosity; and light simply floods in from all angles.
The sitting area features two commodious leather sofas and a TV, while to the right is a hardwood dining table and eight leather dining chairs. The dining table connects with the kitchen’s central island and complements the kitchen’s bespoke upper wooden cabinetry. The kitchen is superbly equipped with a fridge freezer, oven, microwave, coffee machine, ice machine, and its central island with electrical hobs. Another set of sliding glass doors leads out from here to the extensive pool terrace and allows for gentle breezes to run through the ground floor.
In the centre of the living area, a central staircase leads up to the first floor, which is home to the four sea-facing bedrooms. This upper floor has an elegant symmetry about it, with two bedrooms on either side of the luminous hallway.
Anabel’s bedrooms are all spacious sea-view suites with super king-sized beds, ensuite bathrooms with showers, and three of the four have sliding glass doors to access private, wonderfully panoramic balconies surveying the sparkling waters of the Adriatic below. The master bedroom on the eastern edge of the house also features a huge walk-in closet.
OUTSIDE
The panoramic terrace wraps around the sea-facing front of Villa Anabel. The views of the Adriatic and the Pakleni Islands beyond are simply intoxicating – and we can guarantee that this is where you will spend much of your time at Villa Anabel. The terrace is accessed from either of the two sets of glass doors of the living area, or via the third set of glass doors by the kitchen. The terrace has four distinct areas: a shady sea-view dining area; a superb al fresco kitchen equipped with barbecue, sink and wine fridge; a sun-drenched solarium; and a fabulous 65 metre square infinity pool and in-ground hot tub with views out to sea. The restaurants of Hvar Town are close by, but with Anabel’s setting and its beguiling views, you may opt to stay in most nights.
Finally, Anabel has another pair of aces up her sleeves. Behind the al fresco kitchen, you will find the large Finnish sauna for up to 8 people, the perfect spot for a moment of relaxation after a training session in the well-equipped private gym.

- The pool is heatable to a minimum of 23-25 degrees celsius in the colder months.
- Note that construction noise is illegal in this region of Croatia from 12th May – 6th October. If you book outside of this time, there is the possibility of construction noise impacting your stay.
- Restaurants and other establishments mentioned are subject to seasonal availability. Opening and closing dates are determined by the businesses themselves and may vary. Some venues may be closed outside the peak summer season.
- The area in the centre of and surrounding Hvar Town is notably on an incline. From the town centre, numerous stone steps and uphill sections are required to ascend to the villa's elevation.
- As with all residential areas on Hvar Island, quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am. No music is to be played outside during these hours.
The Area
Villa Anabel sits in a panoramic position 500 metres west of Hvar Town's historic core, whose Venetian architecture, labyrinth of pretty streets and excellent range of shops, restaurants, bars and nightlife are well worth exploring.
Hvar Town stands as the beating heart of Croatia’s sunniest island, a fortified harbour settlement where Renaissance palaces and marble-paved squares rise straight from the water’s edge. Centred around one of the largest and most beautiful squares in Dalmatia, the town is dominated by the imposing cathedral of St. Stephen and overlooked by the hilltop fortress that offers sweeping views across the harbour and the Pakleni Islands beyond. Narrow stone streets lined with Venetian architecture, boutique shops, and inviting cafés lead down to the palm-fringed waterfront, where superyachts moor alongside traditional fishing boats, and the daily bustle of locals and visitors creates an infectious energy that lasts from morning market to late-night cocktails.
Beyond the historic core, Hvar Town serves as the perfect base for exploring the island’s natural and culinary highlights. Excellent restaurants range from sophisticated waterfront dining to family-run konobas serving fresh seafood and local wine, while the surrounding coastline offers secluded coves, pebble beaches, and crystal-clear waters ideal for swimming and boating. Regular ferry services and water taxis make arriving here from Split and day trips to the Pakleni archipelago effortless, and the town’s calendar is packed with cultural events, from classical concerts in ancient cloisters to the renowned summer festival scene. Well-connected yet never overwhelmed, this compact town holds more history, culture, and waterfront glamour per metre than almost anywhere else in the Adriatic.
