Lola's Summer House

INSIDE

Accommodation at Lola’s Summer House is laid out over three floors of the main house, and a separate pavilion located on the pool terrace.

The main entrance leads in from a stone pathway tucked between the house and the pool terrace to a generously spacious and luminous open-concept living and dining area. Impeccably furnished and finished, and full of character and vivacity, this space sets the aesthetic blueprint for the property as a whole: its wooden floors, exposed stone walls, neutral tones, and modern artwork are all leitmotifs that will reappear throughout.

To the right of the front door is a large wooden dining table, behind which is the well-equipped, traditional yet stylish kitchen. While to the left is a commodious sofa and armchair directed at one of the villa’s smart TVs. Two pairs of French doors allow this open-plan space to flow inside to out; the door on your right to an al fresco dining terrace, and on your left to a stone staircase that descends to the front courtyard where you will find the hot tub.

The uppermost floor is home to the exceedingly well-appointed master bedroom with a dedicated workspace and an ensuite bathroom. The star of the show here is the direct access to the private terrace with lounge seating, where the views pan out over the rooftops of Hvar Town and across the cobalt waters of the Adriatic to the Pakleni Islands.

The remaining accommodation in the main house is located on the lower floors, with three more bright bedrooms, all of which are ensuite.

Finally, the separate pavilion situated on the pool terrace contains a twin bedroom with its own ensuite. It’s the perfect spot for a couple wanting more privacy.

OUTSIDE

The quality, attention to detail and meticulous design that typify Lola’s Summer House’s interiors is very much in evidence in its al fresco areas too. On entering the main gate, leaving the buzz of Hvar Town behind, one is struck by the sense of order, seclusion, and tranquillity.

Up a few stone stairs is the pool terrace, where the graceful saltwater pool is served by a line of quality sun loungers, and behind, the main alfresco dining area equipped with a traditional stone barbecue. When dusk falls, a well-designed system of illumination transforms this terrace into a scene of pure romantic enchantment.

Heading through the French doors of the living area, a flight of steps takes you down to the front courtyard where you can relax in the sumptuous hot tub together.

Last but not least, the master bedroom on the upper floor has its own well-furnished private terrace from where the views are arguably at their best.
