How to book your villa
Booking your villa through Hvar Away couldn't be simpler. Here’s the step-by-step guide.

When booking your villa, it is worth taking a moment to ensure everything aligns perfectly with your plans. To make that straightforward, we suggest speaking directly with our expert team about your preferences and needs. They visit all our properties regularly, know them inside out, and will be delighted to answer your questions, offer considered advice, and guide you towards the best match.
You can reach them by phone, email, through our contact form, by scheduling a call, or using the online live chat feature. Whichever way suits you, they are ready to help make your Hvar stay exactly as you hope.
BOOK YOUR VILLA ONLINE
Once you've made your villa selection, the simplest way to book is directly online from the villa webpage. The process is very easy: simply choose your desired dates on the availability calendar, specify your group's composition (adults, teenagers, children), and review the displayed price.
Then, click on "Book Now" and follow the simple steps to confirm your booking using a credit or debit card to pay through our secure server. You will have the option to pay in your home currency, or in euros (€).
Please note that some of our villas are available only on request, and are therefore not available for instant online booking as above. If your chosen villa does not display the "Book Now" button and instead features a "Send Request" button, follow the simple steps to place an authorised request for your booking dates. You will be requested to authorise your booking using a credit or debit card to pay through our secure server. This is an authorisation, not a payment – your card will not be charged just yet, but the funds will be temporarily blocked. The villa owner has up to 24 hours to confirm your booking. Once they do, your reservation will be instantly secured and the authorised amount will be processed.
Note that this booking system can be used to confirm one villa at a time. If you wish to book more than one villa, just repeat the process for each one.

On each villa's page on our website, you'll find pricing and up-to-date availability. Simply use the calendar feature to see which dates are available and note any applicable minimum stay requirements for your chosen period. Review the pricing, and if you're ready to proceed with booking online, simply click on "Book Now" or “Send Request”.
If you prefer to discuss your options before booking, or have some unanswered questions, select "Ask A Question" or reach out to us through any of the alternative contact methods.
Once you've sent us an enquiry or question, a member of our team will promptly reach out to provide personalised expert guidance and information. Additionally, they can place a temporary hold on the villa for 24 hours while you confer with your family and friends.
If you request a temporary hold on a villa, we will send you a payment link to be completed in order to confirm your booking, which is valid only for the duration of the option period.
CONFIRMATION OF YOUR BOOKING
Whether you book your villa instantly on our website, send an authorised booking request which is subsequently accepted, or complete the payment link issued following a villa hold, you will receive an automated confirmation email. Within 12 hours, you will receive a further email containing an attachment with your unique Reservation Confirmation document with all of the details of your stay.
- If you have booked your villa more than 60 days before your arrival date, you will pay a 30% booking deposit. The remaining 70% balance will become due 60 days before your arrival, and we will send you a reminder in good time before it’s due.
- If you are booking your villa 60 days or less before your arrival date, payment of the full amount is required at the time of booking.
Payment of both the deposit and the balance is to be made in euros (€), but if paying online by card or digital wallet, you will have the option to make the equivalent euro payment in your home currency. You may also make payments via bank transfer. Please note that we will never share our bank details in the body of an email. Should you request to make a payment to us via bank transfer, we will share our bank details via an attached invoice.
MAKE THE MOST OF OUR SERVICE
Once your villa stay is booked, our team is at your disposal to start assisting with your travel plans and any extra services you may request. Let us know about:
- Your flight arrival time and travel/logistics plans (we are ready to assist and advise)
- Your desired room configurations (double and twin beds, for example)
- If you need a travel cot and/or highchair
- If you need a rental car or transfer to your villa
- Any in-villa services you are interested in booking (chef, massage, etc.)
- Any in-villa goods you are interested in (wine hampers, pre-stocked groceries, etc.)
- Any Experiences you are interested in booking (boat tours, excursions, etc.)
YOUR VILLA GUIDEBOOK
Once the full balance of your villa stay has been paid, you will receive your villa guidebook. This contains all the information you need about the villa you have booked, the surrounding area, and our recommendations. We will send it to you via email and/or phone so that you can easily share it with your group members.
