INSIDE
Accommodation at Villa Eola is arranged over three apartments across its two floors, providing larger groups with individual privacy. The first two apartments are on the ground floor, and the third is on the first floor. The style throughout is one of contemporary minimalist chic, where a calming palette of white, concrete grey and natural wood exalts the property's clean lines and geometric forms, and where designer furnishings are juxtaposed against feature walls in bright and deep pastels. Myriad sea-view windows and doors open out onto the surrounding terraces and add to the airy, luminous, and sophisticated atmosphere.
Apartment I:
This largest apartment of the villa is located on its ground floor. The main entrance takes one into a hallway, in front of which is a large open-concept communal space, home to a convivial dining area, a sleek fully-equipped kitchen, and an impressive living area featuring an L-shaped sofa, a large smart TV, and a fireplace. A pair of floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors open out onto the poolside deck and bring in the magnificent sea views.
To your right, a door opens into the first of Eola’s master bedrooms. This generously proportioned room has a super king bed, a TV, glass doors opening out onto the pool terrace, and a voluptuous ensuite bathroom with a shower and tub.
The remaining accommodation in Apartment I flows off a hallway on the opposite side of the living area. The second master bedroom has all of the features of the first: a super king bed, TV, an ensuite bathroom, and direct glass door access onto the pool terrace.
The third bedroom is sandwiched in the space between the second bedroom and the living area. It contains a long work station, TV, and a sofa bed that can be transformed into a queen size bed. While not ensuite, this room has its own separate bathroom with shower, and glass doors that open out onto the pool terrace. Most guests use this room as an additional chill-out space rather than as a sleeping space.
Apartment II:
This is Eola’s smallest apartment and is also located on the ground floor, although it is not internally interconnected with Apartment I.
The main entrance brings one immediately into a central, open-concept space hosting a beautifully furnished living area with floor-to-ceiling glass doors, a convivial dining table for 6, and a superbly finished kitchen. Like in Apartment I, the glass doors provide seamless access to the large decked, sea-view pool terrace.
A hallway flows to your right towards the apartment’s two bedrooms. Both are opulent, well-proportioned rooms featuring central king size beds, built-in cabinetry, and floor-to-ceiling glass doors bringing in the glorious views of the gardens and the sea. The master bedroom is ensuite with a bathtub, whereas the second bedroom’s bathroom is accessed across the hallway.
Apartment III:
Last but certainly not least, Eola’s first floor is home to its third apartment. Much like its sister apartment below, the main door opens into an entrance hall, leading directly to a spacious, open-concept communal area. This inviting space includes a stylish dining area for six, a fully-equipped modern kitchen, and a comfortable living area with a large smart TV and a cozy fireplace. Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors connect the interior to the upper deck – which comprises an alfresco dining area and sun loungers – and seamlessly bring in the breathtaking sea views.
A passageway to one side of the living area leads to two more sea-view bedrooms, a super king and a king, each with its own ensuite bathroom. The master bedroom has glass door access to the upper deck, while the second bedroom has a floor-to-ceiling panoramic sea-view window.
OUTSIDE
Guests staying at Eola naturally gravitate to the large expanse of sea-view terrace accessed from the communal areas and the bedrooms of Apartments One and Two. The creamy white stone of this area gives way to one of our most stylish pools, a slender, 12.5m-long heatable pool with spellbinding views across the Adriatic.
The terrace wraps around both sides of the ground floor, where there is a white stone hot tub, a delightful shady lounging pavilion, an outdoor shower, two al fresco dining areas, and an outdoor kitchen with a barbecue. For a more intimate setting, guests may head to the delightful first floor deck terrace, which has another alfresco dining area and sunbathing deck.
At the back of the villa on the ground floor terrace, fun for all the family with a table tennis table, a mini billiard table – and some fitness equipment including dumbbells, a swiss ball, and yoga mats.
Eola's terraces are interspersed with landscaped gardens planted with olive trees, palm trees, lemon trees, Japanese grass, and wild herbs, which blend seamlessly with the natural greenery of the coastline.
Lastly, though for many guests perhaps the most important feature of Eola, is its beach access. A steep-inclined asphalt path of 80 metres takes you straight down to the coast road. From there, stroll right for 100 metres and you will reach the staircase which leads down to a peaceful pebbly beach and the irresistible waters of the Adriatic Sea.
This area is dotted with plenty of lovely sun-dappled coves. Turn left at the coast road, and walk for 5 minutes to reach a stunning sandy beach (one of Hvar’s rare non-pebble bays). Or in the other direction, a 10-minute stroll will bring you to Vitarnja’s main beach, served by an excellent beach bar.

The Area
Villa Eola is perched on a hilltop in Vitarnja, a sought-after coastal stretch a few kilometres north of utterly charming Jelsa Town. Enjoy the serenity of seclusion while Jelsa's harbourfront restaurants and vibrant bars are within an easy breezy 5-minute drive.
Jelsa sits on Hvar’s northern coast as a well-balanced blend of history, everyday island life, and modern convenience. Founded in the 14th century as the port of Pitve, Jelsa grew from a small fishing and agricultural settlement into a shipbuilding and maritime centre, reaching its peak in the 19th century. That era still shapes the town’s elegant layout, from its two broad waterfront promenades to its refined stone houses. Today, Jelsa is one of the most practical bases on the island, with two large supermarkets just outside town, several smaller high street grocery shops, a butcher, a fishmonger, and a lively daily farmers’ market. Social life centres on the main square, set below the parish church, where locals and visitors gather over coffee or ice cream, and the atmosphere remains gently animated from morning through evening.
Jelsa also works exceptionally well as a starting point for exploring both the island and staying put to enjoy its quieter pleasures. Calm, family-friendly beaches such as Mina, Grebišće, and Vitarnja are all within easy reach by foot, while the surrounding countryside opens up to cycling routes and gentle hikes through olive groves, vineyards, and the UNESCO-listed Stari Grad Plain. Daily boat connections, nearby sports facilities, and a slower rhythm than Hvar Town make Jelsa particularly appealing to travellers who want variety without intensity, and a base that feels lived-in rather than performative.
