INSIDE

Accommodation at Villa del Mar is laid out over a main house across three floors and one independent apartment suite on the lower level of the driveway.

Designed to make the most of its captivating sea views, and conceived as an impeccably contemporary home with a touch of Mediterranean heritage, the villa is characterised by a combination of clean geometric lines with curvaceous archways, and extensive sliding glass doors that blur the lines between indoor and outdoor living.

The ground floor entrance of the main house leads into a hallway and reception area where guests are first introduced to the property's contemporary aesthetics. The space flows round to the left into the first of the villa’s three well-equipped kitchens, which features dual refrigerators, a wine fridge, a separate pantry, and a breakfast bar. Sliding glass doors open out onto the shaded main al fresco dining terrace, served by a traditional barbecue and sink.

Three ground floor bedrooms flow from the other side of the hallway: two king rooms with en-suite shower rooms, and one twin room also with an ensuite. Both of the king bedrooms are generously proportioned, with dedicated workspaces, and have splendid sea views and French doors opening onto the main terrace.

An exterior staircase leads up to the first floor at Villa del Mar, the communal hub of the home. Creamy white walls with in-built arches rise to lofty, wood-beamed ceilings, the sea-facing wall of French windows and doors brings in the light and magical views, and classically comfortable furnishings blend harmoniously with sleek Italian furniture. This spacious, airy, open-concept space is divided into four well-defined and beautifully furnished areas. Closest to the entrance, a pair of easy chairs sit beside a gloriously unique open fireplace. In front, a sitting area with a large L-shaped sofa and a smart TV. Tucked behind, a dining area with designer hardwood table and chairs that opens onto a covered patio area served by a barbecue grill, outdoor sink, and al fresco dining area. And finally, the villa’s second kitchen, equipped with a breakfast bar and an array of top-level appliances.

Accommodation on the first floor is completed by a primary suite with a super king sized bed, a smart TV, access to a private sea-view balcony, and an opulent en-suite bathroom with a tub, walk-in shower, and double sinks that ooze luxury.

The second floor is reached by a floating staircase from the living space, and is home to three more bedrooms:

• The master suite with super king-sized bed, private lounge area and workspace, and an en-suite bathroom with freestanding tub, walk-in shower, and dual sinks. French doors on the far side of the bedroom open onto a private sea-facing balcony terrace, while two sets of doors on the opposite wall open onto another fabulously panoramic sea-view terrace which is accessible externally for shared convivial times.

• A king bedroom with en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, and its own private sea-view balcony.

• A twin bedroom with a dedicated workspace, and en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower.

Accommodation at Villa del Mar is completed by a self-contained apartment suite, which has an independent stair-free entrance on the lower ground floor adjacent to the driveway entrance. It contains its own living area with smart TV, a kitchen with breakfast bar, and a king bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The space is ideal for guests travelling with their own staff, or for guests seeking additional privacy.

Behind the house, exterior staircases lead up to the dedicated fitness/yoga studio, equipped with yoga mats and swiss balls.

OUTSIDE

Al fresco life at Villa del Mar is extremely well catered for, with numerous shady and sunny-kissed terraces for guests to choose from. Whether you're lounging, dining, sunbathing, or reposing with a book, there's a spot for every occasion, both for private moments and for convivial gatherings of your whole group.

The al fresco areas mirror the interiors, in that they're spread over three levels.

Wrapping around the ground floor is the main terrace looking out to sea. With defined areas furnished for formal dining, cooking and lounging, these are ideal for lazy lunches under the shade, and get-togethers at the end of another fabulous day.

Steps lead down to the wonderful decked pool area, flanked on two sides by sun loungers that offer plenty of space for sun worshippers. The pool itself is an 11m-long mirror of turquoise water with an infinity edge, and gorgeous views out over Adriatic and the Pakleni Islands beyond. Staircase paths weave up behind the pool terrace to myriad smaller spots, with lots of space for guests to spread out.

On the first floor, both the living area and the primary suite open onto furnished sea-view balconies that invite you to gaze out at the magnetic views. To the rear, a sheltered patio provides yet another al fresco dining spot served by a full outdoor kitchen and grill.

Finally, on the second floor, the two sea-facing bedrooms each feature their own private balconies, alongside a shared panoramic terrace with lounge furniture, where the views are perhaps at their most captivating.
