Tomić Winery is an intruiging testament to both traditional and modern winemaking. With a history rooted in the island’s long-standing viticulture, it’s a place where history and exceptional wines come together. The highlight is undoubtedly the wine cellar, known as "Triklinij." Carved into the stone just like the ancient cellars of Diocletian, this space is truly breathtaking. The blend of travertine columns and vaulted ceilings not only provides an impressive setting for aging wines but also creates an atmosphere that is both timeless and inviting.

This traditional Dalmatian wine cellar is the family business of the Carić family. You can taste the passion and dedication they put into the production of both their white and red wines. Unlike many wine purists who use Hvar grapes exclusively for single-varietals, Carić blends them together to craft extremely unique wines.

The Plančić brothers are true wine obsessives, deeply committed to the craft and capable of building phenomenal wines from the ground up. Established in 1919, Plančić uses only indigenous grape varieties from the island of Hvar, and their wines are interestingly different from what you may be used to elsewhere.
