Located in the picturesque fishing village of Sveta Nedjelja on the southern coast of Hvar, Bilo Idro (the tasting room of the famous Zlatan Otok wines) is a testament of dedication to traditional winemaking, entrepreneurial persistence, and hard work.
The underwater cellar
The one-of-a-kind underwater wine cellar is situated 70 metres below ground and maintains a natural constant temperature of 11-12°C, providing the perfect conditions for ageing their wines.
The cellar is not just a storage space but the setting of your unforgettable wine tasting experience. From the serene beauty of the seabed visible through the unique submarine window to the exquisite flavours of their award-winning wines, you’ll love every moment here.
Offerings include the best Croatian white wine, honoured at the prestigious Decanter Awards, and their Grand Cru, recognised as one of the world's great wines.
Meet the winemaker
Zlatan Plenković has risen to become one of the best-selling winemakers, a journey far from overnight. The crowning achievement of his career is the Croatian Wine Knight title he earned in 2009. He created Croatia's first Grand Cru, and his Pošip won the prestigious Decanter Best Regional White Wine award.
Today, this legacy is carried forward by Zlatan’s sons, Nikola and Marin, alongside winemaker Davor.

For bookings of this Experience made more than 60 days in advance of your arrival date at your villa, the following conditions apply:
- A booking deposit of 50% of the total booking price (including all fees and taxes) is due for payment at the time of reservation.
- The remaining balance payment of 50% of the total booking price (including all fees and taxes) is due for payment no later than 60 days before your arrival date at your villa.
For bookings of this Experience made 60 days or less in advance of your arrival date at your villa, the following conditions apply:
- Payment of 100% of the total booking price (including all fees and taxes) is due for payment at the time of reservation.
