Vis Island & Pakleni

This private charter will take you on an exploration out to Vis Island, which is home to some of Dalmatia’s most hidden treasures, bays known only to locals, and tiny beaches for just a handful of visitors. Discover the rare sandy beach of Smokova Bay, lunch in a stunning setting on Komiža’s waterfront, Mamma Mia beach, and the iconic harbour town of Vis. Your captains will take you to pristine bays perfect for snorkelling in the Adriatic's crystal-clear waters.

Unwind on your boat’s comfortable cushioned platforms, soak up the sun, and enjoy your preferred music. Indulge in award-winning Croatian wines paired with delectable local seafood at charming seaside eateries. The final stops of the day will be at the Pakleni Islands in the late afternoon, the crown jewels of Hvar’s famous archipelago.

9.30am: boarding at Hvar Town Harbour

First stop at Smokova Bay. Smokova is one of the few sandy and shallow bays on the east coast of Vis Island. The water is warmer here because of the bay’s shallowness, allowing you to walk in knee-deep water and feel the soft sand beneath your feet.

Our next stop is at the famous Stiniva Bay, a breathtaking hidden cove dramatically enclosed by towering cliffs, with a narrow pebbled beach opening to turquoise waters that ranks among Croatia’s most spectacular and photographed natural wonders. It's usually a little crowded here, so many guests like to quickly move on to the next bay – Smričevica Bay. This more peaceful spot is again surrounded by crystal clear water and pine forests, and an incredible spot for a snorkelling! Afterwards, you’ll continue navigating along the southern coast of Vis Island, towards the town of Komiža.

We will continue exploring Vis’ mesmerising coastline. Battered by the wind and waves for millennia, caverns have since formed in the rock structures, some of which you will enter and be treated to a truly surreal experience! After continuing to explore this marine wilderness – including Mala Pritišćina Bay, home to the smallest beach you’ve probably ever laid eyes on – you’ll head to the fishing town of Komiža.

It's lunch time at a local harbourfront restaurant in Komiža. The house specialty is lobster, the tuna is equally delightful, and the pasta and risottos are divine.

After lunch, you can walk through charming Komiža, and be picked up on the other side of town before departing.

The first stop after lunch is Mamma Mia Beach. This is where all the ferries can be seen in the scene from the film Mamma Mia – it’s also where young Donna first arrives on the island. Relax, swim, and snorkel here for a while. There’s always more wine in the boat’s fridge!

In the late afternoon, we will start heading back to Hvar, visiting the stunning Pakleni Islands on the way.

Mlini Beach Bay delivers the most captivating nuances of blue-turquoise water. Here, you can swim in the bays, relax, listen to music, and enjoy more wine amidst pleasant conversations.

There are more and less crowded areas in Pakleni, and you can visit either or both, depending on your preferences.

5.30pm: return to Hvar Town Harbour.
