If you are new to scuba diving but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, a Discovery Dive is a perfect start to exploring the underwater world. With a beach entry dive and shallow sea training area, you will have a safe and enjoyable introduction to scuba diving.

The discovery bay is a perfect combination of a pool-like environment with a sandy bottom for diving exercises and rocky formation to explore. Here you can meet the most typical representatives of the Mediterranean Sea: seabreams, flounders, damselfish, weever, red mullet, salema, rainbow wrasse, octopus… if you’re lucky, perhaps even a seahorse.

The maximum depth you’ll start with is 100cm, which is suitable to perform all the basic skills required for a boat experience. You will then dive to a maximum depth of 6 meters for some 30 minutes.

You will learn the basic safety guidelines and skills needed to dive, under the direct supervision of a PADI or SSI Professional. With only two participants per dive instructor, your discovery dive will feel personalised and relaxed. Get ready to:

Certified divers can join a private dive excursion and explore the diverse marine life of Hvar's archipelago with a one- or two-dive excursion. Each excursion offers a unique experience as the schedule rotates through various stunning dive sites, including vibrant reefs, intriguing wrecks, and fascinating underwater landscapes. Each site offers a unique glimpse into the Adriatic's rich marine ecosystem.

After the first dive at the house reef in the diving centre’s bay (to get confident with buoyancy), all private diving experiences take place on RIB dive boats with amenities such as biminis, fridges, and toilets. The boats are easily accessible, and after or between your dive(s), you can relax at the nearby hotel’s beach bar, designed to unwind and savour their afternoon on a comfy sunbed with a drink.

Most of the dive spots are wall dives, approximately 5-10 minutes away via speedboat, meaning single tank dives only.

All dives are guided by experienced dive guides/instructors and we respect your certification depth level.

This Experience requires favourable weather conditions. If it is cancelled due to poor weather, you’ll be given the option to reschedule for another date or receive a full refund. Cloudy sky, slight rain and/or wind are not valid reasons for rescheduling or refund.
