This private tour explores the charming village of Velo Grablje, home to Hvar's renowned lavender growers and fields, and continues onto a family farm in the central part of the island. Experience hands-on harvesting and sample local treats like lavender liqueur, juice, and dried figs.

The lavender fields of Hvar burst into full bloom only during early summer, typically in June and July. While a few flowers may start opening in late May, it’s worth waiting until June to fully experience the intoxicating fragrance and vibrant purple beauty of the fields.

Lavender, cherished for over 2,500 years, has been a staple of everyday life since ancient times, valued as both a perfume and an insect repellent. Today, its essential oil plays a key role in pharmaceuticals, aromatherapy, and cosmetics.

This Experience takes you on a private guided tour to the charming village of Velo Grablje, home to renowned lavender growers and even an annual Lavender Festival each July. You’ll also visit a family farm in the heart of the island to learn about the lavender harvest and oil production process, guided by local producers who craft some of the finest essential oils in the world.
